Covid 19 Update

To our extended Richardsons Community,

These are truly unique times. As we’ve quickly come to realise, the Coronavirus is impacting everyone. As this global pandemic continues to affect us all, I want to let you know how we at Richardsons are responding and how we’re supporting our employees, our customers and the battle against Covid-19.

The safety of our staff and our communities comes first. Like so many businesses, we’ve had to substantially scale back. This reduces the need for people to come into our premises and supports Social Distancing. Unfortunately, it’s also in response to a significantly weakened demand from our Hospitality customers. Regrettably, this has had a huge impact on all our Team! But customers still need to be fed! We continue to reliably serve Healthcare and essential services sectors who rely on Richardsons for food supplies. A small number of our team are working from our warehouse and, where possible, from home to guarantee service.

In order to meet increased demand from households for fresh food supplies, we’ve newly introduced Richardsons “Click and Collect” service. We will do our best to source fresh local produce and provide a reliable, convenient and safe pick-up service from our warehouse.
